Jason is the founder and Managing Partner at Atkins Law and has over 25 years of experience in representing clients throughout Kentucky and Ohio. Prior to founding Atkins Law, he was a partner at a regional firm where he assisted businesses and individuals in a range of areas including business formations and transactions, alternative dispute resolution, real estate and construction law, business litigation, and estate planning. Jason’s diverse practice has included the prosecution and defense of contractual disputes involving non-competition agreements, shareholder buyouts, corporate governance issues, as well as business torts tied to the management of multi-million dollar companies. Jason has also counseled clients through the growth of their businesses through seminars on employment laws and related issues and serves as outside general counsel to several privately-held businesses.
